The Shepard girls are blessed to have a super great dad in the house.  We took our super great dad "camping" and here (as promised) are the pictures....

Savannah got to gather twigs and leaves and help start the fire.  She was thrilled!

SUMMER VACATION

Okay, sorry to disappoint with no pictures -- just haven't quite gotten there!  After being on the computer every free moment possible the last three years, I just don't have it quite as high on the priority list that I once did (silent hallelujah from the peanut gallery).  Since I left JumpTV, we have traveled to Houston to see Matt and Toni Shepard and newest nephew Cooper, been to Dallas for our friend Stephanie Wetzel's wedding and to visit some old friends, had Mom and Dad O'Keefe visit and spent a few days "on the farm" in Piggott, Arkansas with Thad's grand-parents!  So, the theme for our summer 2009 is TRAVEL.  It's a good thing we like to do it and our kids seem to be good at it.  I am also in the middle of getting comfortable being a mac user.  Thad is a die-hard mac-aholic and all I've ever known is a PC, so I'm in education mode now.  Okay, just tried to insert a picture and apparently, I don't have any saved on here and I can't access Thad's side of things, so -- stay tuned.  In the meantime, Happy Father's Day to all you dad's out there - we mom's wouldn't want to do it without you however much we pretend otherwise!  We are taking our daddy CAMPING, so I'll be sure to get the whole picture thing straightened out by next weekend so you can partake in our experience if you choose! 

 To change the subject completely, I want to show our support for one of our friends, Lecrae.  He is the real deal and leading urban youth to Christ in such a real way it will take your breath away.  He and several others are coming to a city near you with the Don't Waste Your Life Tour.
